Aniccha
The Aniccha cycle takes shape from natural pigments – chlorophyll, oxides, vegetal extracts – activated through an alchemical process in which water acts as a vital reagent. The water of the Aso River, flowing beside the artist's studio, and that of the Adriatic Sea, with its sediments and marine micro-organisms, enter the painting as active presences, carrying with them the memory of the territory and the force of time. The matter is never still: it oxidizes, shifts, drifts from green to red, inscribing on the surface its own destiny of transformation. Across these grounds emerge unstable configurations, oscillating between the human and the organic, fragile and temporary figures that testify to the transitory nature of every form.
